I'm Simon Hukaya. I have been designing eyewear for more than a decade. You can find the dual-identity of Japanese and European [Hungarian] origins in my design work. Optifold is the first in a series of unique eyewear projects that I'm passionate about creating and that aim to push the boundaries of conventonal eyewear design, introducing innovative, yet highly wearable pieces to rejuvenate the market.

The OPTIFOLD is a very special eyewear frame. The frame is made of thin sheets folded in multiple directions to make it lightweight yet sturdy. The unique folding technique gives this product a spectacular appearance.

This is the flat pattern before bending. This place setting is cut out of special Japanese stainless steel using CNC technology to obtain the most precise and clean surface.er is an angular masculine model. Its style is Robotic, Strongly masculine, yet Elegant and Playful.
